How do you spell relief?

D-I-S-C-H-A-R-G-E! Don't get gross here. I'm talking an Army Discharge. Like saying Joe is done-finis-finito with his obligation.

It was a long time coming.

Finally some closure to this whole thing.

A year ago we were in Ireland. I remember walking around London with all different sorts of people wearing poppies for armistace (sp?) day. How many people do that here? Have you thanked a veteran today - no matter what conflict era - no matter what service they did - for what they have done for us?

  1. Thanks to everyone who has served. As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said:

"Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them."
