And this second one is the biggie.
We got the George Washington to sea today. What a great feeling to see the ship leaving the pier. The crew manned the rails and we had our few riders standing up in one of the covered areas....
What a relief. This was a great project team to work with, but completely unlike anything I've done in my career. There's finally a weight off my shoulders and I have less stress today than I have in 3 months. I'll be heading home next week after a tying up a few loose ends.
I did manage to lay by the pool today, go to Hodad's in Ocean Beach and get a little sunburnt.
I'll link to some pics of the departure as I find them on the internet.
