In like a lion...

March certainly has been a weird weather month here. We had about 4 inches of snow last weekend and then it was pouring on Friday with a few flakes thrown in for good measure. Gotta love it.

Yesterday was a wonderful day here so we headed on up to Poulsbo to start checking out the property and clearing brush / small trees. It was an exhausting afternoon, but we made some good progress. The next step will be to take all the big trees down. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we have enough to fill a self loader, so we'll be inviting friends over so they can get some firewood...

I'm tentatively going to Portsmouth NSY in a couple of weeks. SWEET! I'm excited as I've never been to New Hampshire OR Maine and have heard some wonderful things about the town. Even better - it's a fly on Monday and Friday deal, so I really don't have to miss much at home. Should be fun - I talked to one of the guys at work who used to work at PNSY and he recommended all kinds of restaurants and where I can go to get some lobsters to bring home.

Joe's brother is finally home from the hospital, which is just awesome news....he ended up staying a couple days longer than planned because of some leg pain, but his bloodwork looked very good. It's still a long road, but at least the first part is in the past.

Nothing else is really new...just kind of plugging along....
