Flying over Seattle!

Well, it ended up being a nice day for a flight.  Not totally clear, so no majestic mountain views, but at least there was some sun out there and the clouds continued to break later in the day.  Joe had gotten a travelzoo deal about a year ago for a "flying lesson" and scenic flight over Seattle. We were getting down to the wire to use it,  so we finally (!!) booked the flight.  It was enjoyable and a lovely day.  Very little wind and Joe kept the plane nice and steady for the majority of the flight!  I was able to chill and relax in the back of the plane and just enjoy the view.  We managed to get great views of Seattle, Bainbridge and Poulsbo.  The casa was a little too close to a "no fly zone" for the pilot's taste, so we just saw Walmart and called it good.  :-)

After the flight we buzzed up to Seattle to have dinner with friends at Ipanema Grill.  We, as always, had a lovely time with our good friends Dave and Bernadet. The meal was good...but Fogo de Chao was WAY better.
