Kannonzaki Park...Take 2

We had a weekend off and decided to head out to Kannonzaki for another trip to the awesome park. We hopped on the bus and off we went...Logan adores riding in the high swat way up front and if it's open, we generally let him.  No matter how crowded the bus is, he is safe and stays put until we tell m it's time to get off...what a luxury to not worry.  In fact, on our way to kannonzaki, we got off a couple stops before the end and the elderly gentleman sitting across from I'm stopped him from getting off because we had told him we were going all th way to Kannonzaki.

We stopped for lunch at a restaurant near Maborikaigen...it had gotten good reviews by friends. And, it was dog friendly!

But first...the multitude of cats...

We had a hard time picking menu items out...everything sounded amazing.  One thing I did not take a picture of was my rose ginger tea.  Wow...seriously amazing.

Maguro (tuna) carpaccio.....everyone loved this one!

Joe's lunch...red snapper belly (very tasty!)....

I love the local seaweed in the little fish dishes....I think I need to find something like that somewhere...

And, my gorgeous lunch.  An avocado and tuna "salad".  It's sitting in a bed of rice with a shiso leaf. Seriously amazing stuff.....I was in heaven as I was eating...

The kiddo had a perfectly nice margherita pizza.....nothing special, but he was happy and we were happy...

And they really meant dog friendly!

Logan is really loving the camera!

This place was very cool...it filled up quickly the closer to noon we got.  It's this weird artist, beachy, Hawaii, surfer vibe.  But it totally works.

After having our bellies filled, we got back on the bus and headed towards Kannonzaki.  Logan showed Joe all the cool places and okay areas...

Sakura in bloom!

This looked like it used to be some sort of cargo net...built on a theme of daikon radishes...But, the cargo net was gone and all that was left were the daikon.

We rode all the roller slides a few times, had a great time on the pirate playground and then hiked back down...

We had to stop and feed the fish (it's ok...everyone does it here) and we were off to our home...

Another awesome adventure at Kannonzaki....definitely love this park and all the adventures we have had here!
