Odaiba

Odaiba was on my list of places to visit simply because it's a collection of malls, cool places and the Lego museum...we didn't know what to expect, so we went with an open mind, a general list of places to see and....

The really cool train ride over the rainbow bridge!  We passed lots of cool sites...

And actually went on the lower deck of this bridge. The train was pretty cool...another completely autonomous line.

We explored a bit after getting off the train...Logan snapped a few pics....

I loved this running man marking the running trail...

there's a gundam museum in one of the malls with a ginormous Gundam figure.  We aren't into the whole Gundam scene, so I can't explain much more than it looked like a giant robot....

Next to the aqua city mall was this awesome tulip garden...

Logan found this one tulip and he still calls it "his" pretty tulip....

We take so many pictures of flowers...it's kind of crazy!

Next up was heading over by Toyota Megaweb.  It's basically a giant showroom for Toyota with rest rides, mini go karts and other cool things.  On the way, the kiddo cooled off in a misting zone near the Pallette Mall.

The mega web!

There was this whole safety fair going on...we understood generally what the booths were about, but there was a lot lost in translation.  Needless to say, we visited a yellow lab who was a seeing eye dog, had a handprint made and sat in various emergency vehicles.

A little more wandering brought us to the Takoyaki Museum...basically a bunch of vendors selling takoyaki...or octopus donuts.  I love takoyaki but we didn't sample..

The pinnacle stop of the day was Legoland Discovery Center....

Very cool and this was a big surprise for the kiddo!

An entire room dedicated to displays of Tokyo mad from Legos.  Super impressive!

I think the things where Logan was creating cars or houses were my favorite part of the day.  Logan has been creating pretty awesome things from the few small Lego sets he has here....I can't wait for him to get home and start making more things with the basic Lego blocks....

And that is a wrap...another long day in Tokyo but a lot of fun....
